After managing residential commitment programs and conducting on-site audits as a certified quality assurance peer evaluator with the State of Florida, Jennifer Minthorn segued to administration and regulatory oversight of child and family prevention, intervention and outpatient mental health and substance abuse programs for Morton Plant Mease Hospital. Jennifer relocated to Maine and became a project manager for MaineHealth including being part of the Clinical Improvement Team with Maine Medical Center’s Physician Hospital Organization that included overseeing all communications with the physician members and project managing their quality improvement projects. Her experience also includes ten years with Merrimack River Medical Services as the Director over several medication-assisted treatment clinics and serving as the Executive Board Secretary and State Delegate for the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence.
Minthorn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the State University of New York and a Master of Arts degree in community psychology from Sage Graduate School. She is licensed as a Certified Clinical Supervisor and Alcohol and Drug Counselor and holds certifications as a Project Management Institute globally certified Project Manager and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Minthorn joined Promerica Health as Vice President, Communications and Compliance in 2018.
